ALBANY, NY – The first meeting of New York State Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (NYS P-TECH) convened Monday with school, business and government officials from 16 communities statewide focusing on implementation of the innovative new educational model. New York is the first state in the nation to take P-TECH statewide and it is expected the public private partnerships will prepare more than 6,000 New York high school students for high-skill jobs.

“Under Governor Cuomo, the State has worked tirelessly to ensure that New York students are fully prepared to qualify for first-rate positions after they graduate,”
