Thank you to all our members who that attended The Business Council's 2012 Annual Meeting. You helped make it a memorable event.
For those of you who were unable to join us at The Business Council of New York's 2012 Annual Meeting, here are snapshots of our enormously entertaining and successful event; they include the inspiring speeches given by Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy and Tom Donohue, the Fred Dicker and Susan Arbetter programs, and links to the two press releases sent during the Annual Meeting – our member survey and the Public Policy Institute.
In addition to appearances by Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy and Tom Donohue, President & CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, we awarded the Corning Award to Kirk Greg, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for Corning, Inc. and awarded the Chamber of the Year award to the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. Paul Vandenburg and Fred Dicker of TALK1300 aired their programs live from the Annual Meeting, as did Susan Arbetter, host of The Capital Pressroom. Capital Tonight's Liz Benjamin, along with her sidekicks, Bob Bellafiore and Steven Greenberg entertained a large audience, too.
