ALBANYNew York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer will speak at The Business Council's annual State Chamber Dinner Monday, May 13 at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany.
There will be a press table at the dinner, which is scheduled to begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. Attorney General Spitzer is scheduled to begin speaking at approximately 7:50 p.m.
The Business Council, which fills the role of a state chamber, holds this dinner to honor the state's local chambers of commerce. The tradition is more than four decades old, dating back to the former Empire State Chamber of Commerce. After the Empire State Chamber merged with Associated Industries in 1980 to form The Business Council, The Council continued the tradition.
