ALBANY, N.Y.—Recognizing the importance of small business to the state’s economy and the challenges faced by small business owners, The Business Council of New York State is conducting a survey of small businesses to help direct its advocacy efforts.

The survey asks business owners about their priority issues and concerns and provides member businesses with an opportunity to offer feedback to The Council on its efforts.

“More than 70 percent of Business Council members are small businesses,” said Heather C. Briccetti, Esq., president and CEO of The Business Council. “We are committed to representing the interests of all our members and by extension, all businesses in the state.

“This survey will help to identify issues most important to the continued ability of small business to grow and create jobs,” said Briccetti.

The survey is being conducted online via the following link: www.surveymonkey.com/s/smallbusiness2015
