ALBANY— The Business Council of New York State is endorsing, Sen. Hugh Farley (R-I-C, 44th SD) for re-election to the New York State Senate.

“Sen. Hugh Farley stands for growth and job creation. He also understands how vitally important the financial services sector is to New York state. When he was the Chair of the Senate Committee on Banks he championed laws that helped that sector to thrive while providing consumer protections,” said Kenneth Adams, president and CEO of The Business Council of New York State.

“Sen. Farley understands that to put New York on a path to economic recovery we need to lower taxes and lower the cost of doing business in this state. He has been a champion of pro-growth policies and will continue to do so when re-elected,” said Adams.

Sen. Farley supports the Business Council's Enough Already NY campaign's Five to Survive economic reform agenda which includes: a property tax cap; a state spending cap; reducing the tax burden; reforming public employee pensions and limiting government borrowing.

This endorsement is made through The Business Council Political Action Committee.
