Keeping your business safe and prepared:

  • Remove equipment from the floor and away from windows;
  • Document all emergency and technical support numbers
  • Take pictures of your office and equipment for insurance purposes
  • Find out what your building management plans are to avoid abrupt shutdowns

Preparing for a power outage:

  • Charge all cell phones and laptops
  • Make sure gas tanks are full in your vehicles
  • Have flashlights handy with plenty of batteries.
  • Stock up on water, necessary health care supplies and non-perishable foods to last a few days
  • Turn off all unnecessary electrical devices
