ALBANY— The Business Council of New York State is proud to announce that Heather Briccetti, president and CEO, is a winner of The Business Review's Women Who Mean Business Award.

This is the fifth year for the award that honors women who are instrumental in driving the growth of companies and the economy in New York. The five other winners of the award are Kathleen Brodbeck, vice president and chief nursing officer at St. Peter's Health Partners in Albany, Tenée Casaccio, managing principal of JMZ Architects & Planners in Glens Falls, Barbara Hess, chief administrative officer at SEFCU, the Albany-based credit union, Annmarie Lanesey, president of Greane Tree Technology in Troy and Trish Rost, president and founder of the East Greenbush-based handbag designer and manufacturer Madison Handbags.

An awards lunch, and a panel discussion featuring the winners, will be held Friday, Oct. 5, at Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia. A special Business Review publication profiling the six Women Who Mean Business comes out the same day.
