Albany N.Y. —The Business Council of New York State, NFIB of NY and Unshackle Upstate mailed out postcards to targeted voters in support of Senate candidates Mark Grisanti (R/I, 60th Senate District), Sean Hanna (R/C/I, 55th Senate District), George Amedore (R/C/I, 46th Senate District) and Steve Saland (R/I, 41st Senate District).

The joint mailings, which were sent to a large number of likely voters in each of the four Senate Districts, are the first coordinated direct mail effort for the three organizations leading up to Election Day on Nov. 6.

Leaders from the Business Council of New York State, NFIB of NY and Unshackle Upstate voiced their strong support for the aforementioned Senate candidates and renewed their pledge to promote a unified pro-taxpayer, pro-jobs agenda.

In order to create jobs and rebuild our state's economy, we  need to elect pro-growth candidates,” said Heather Briccetti, president and CEO of The Business Council of New York State, Inc. “They understand that to put New York on the path to economic recovery we need to lower taxes and lower the cost of doing business in this state. Our collaboration with NFIB and Unshackle New York allows us to spread that message to a wider group of New York voters.”

“This election is critical to the future of New York's small business owners. Electing pro-business and pro-taxpayer candidates to the state legislature will help propel New York on a path to economic revitalization. This joint effort highlights the commitment of our organizations to help move our state forward to a better financial and economic future,” said NFIB State Director Mike Durant.

“The Senate candidates that we've featured in these postcards are serious about stimulating job growth, improving New York's toxic business climate and easing the tax burden,” said Brian Sampson, executive director of Unshackle Upstate. “We're proud to stand with the Business Council and NFIB in support of these four hard-working candidates and we encourage the voters in 41st, 46th, 55th and 60th Senate Districts to send them to Albany on Nov. 6.”
