ALBANY— The Business Council of New York State, Inc. is endorsing Republican Chris Friend in the 137th Assembly District.
“Chris Friend is a scientist who will bring common sense and reason to Albany. For too long Albany politicians have spent too much and taxed too much, killing jobs in our state. Chris Friend will be a voice for change,” said Kenneth Adams, president and CEO of The Business Council of New York State.
Chris Friend supports the Business Council's Enough Already NY campaign's Five to Survive economic reform agenda which includes: a property tax cap; a state spending cap; reducing the tax burden; reforming public employee pensions and limiting government borrowing.
The endorsement comes through the Business Council's Political Action Committee.
