Keeping your business safe and prepared:
- Remove equipment from the floor and away from windows;
- Document all emergency and technical support numbers
- Take pictures of your office and equipment for insurance purposes
- Find out what your building management plans are to avoid abrupt shutdowns
Preparing for a power outage:
- Charge all cell phones and laptops
- Make sure gas tanks are full in your vehicles
- Have flashlights handy with plenty of batteries.
- Stock up on water, necessary health care supplies and non-perishable foods to last a few days
- Turn off all unnecessary electrical devices
