It’s not too early to take advantage of sponsorship and exhibition opportunities at The Business Council’s Annual Meeting, which will take place Sept. 18-20 at the Sagamore in Bolton Landing.

The Annual Meeting is the premier event each year for The Business Council and its members. More than 500 persons, including top executives from business and government, participate in the event.

The Board of Directors of The Council, the Board of Trustees of The Public Policy Institute, and the Government Affairs Council all meet at the Annual Meeting.

Many Council members have found the meeting an excellent opportunity to promote goods and services, said Ellen Muir, director of conference development for The Council.
Sponsorship opportunities include:

  • Corporate banners can be displayed on light poles along the main entrance road to The Sagamore.
  • One employer’s corporate logo can be displayed on the duffel bag all meeting participants receive with gifts from Council members.
  • Employers may sponsor the meeting itself at three levels: gold sponsor, silver sponsor, and patron.
  • Social, sporting, and recreational events that are part of the meeting can be sponsored.

It’s also not too early to register to attend the meeting and to reserve your room at The Sagamore.

Each year at the meeting, The Business Council presents the Corning Award for Excellence to an individual of outstanding accomplishment. Corning Incorporated sponsors this award.

Social and recreational opportunities at the Annual Meeting include golf and tennis tournaments, a Lake George cruise, an Adirondack hike, and a five-kilometer run.
