ALBANY — “The job numbers released today by the New York State Department of Labor show signs of progress. Most notably in the 17 months of continuous private-sector job growth and the nearly 30,000 private-sector jobs created in January,” said Heather Briccetti, president and CEO of The Business Council of New York State, Inc. “If we are to sustain this positive news our leaders in Albany must continue down a path of fiscal restraint and move to fix long-term issues that have slowed our economic growth and ability to create good paying jobs.”
