Business Council Board of Directors elects officers

Albany, N.Y.—The Board of Directors of The Business Council of New York State, Inc. has elected David Smith, Esq. of National Fuel Gas Company, and G. Thomas Tranter, Jr. of Corning Enterprises, Co-Chairmen at the statewide business organization's annual meeting last week in Bolton Landing, N.Y.

Mr. Smith is chairman of the board of National Fuel Gas. Mr. Tranter is president of Corning Enterprises, Corning Incorporated.

The Board also re-elected Heather C. Briccetti, Esq., president and CEO.

Other officers re-elected at the meeting are: Vice Chair and Treasurer Paul Speranza, Jr., General Counsel and Secretary, Wegmans Food Markets, Inc.; Vice Chair and Secretary Gail Grimmett, Senior Vice President - NY, Delta Air Lines, Inc.; Vice Chair for Membership Eric Mower, Chairman & CEO, Eric Mower + Associates; Vice Chair Karen Boykin-Towns, Vice President, Business Unit Public Affairs, Pfizer Inc; Vice Chair Thomas F. Judson, Jr., Chairman & CEO, The Pike Company, Inc.; and Vice Chair Linda Sanford, Senior Vice President, Enterprise Transformation, IBM Corporation.
